Global Studio and People Building Better Cities is now in its third
year, and focuses on the way in which the city building professions can
assist in creating more sustainable environments, with and for the urban
poor. This year Global Studio is in Johannesburg, and builds on the
successful GS Istanbul (2005) and GS Vancouver (2006).
We are calling for expressions of interest- from students, academics and
professionals- to take part in the conference People Building Better
Cities (June 25-28, followed by a trip to Maputo or Durban) and Global
Studio (June
30- July 19).
